Fortunately, the weather was perfect and the event attracted an excellent turnout. Throughout the day, visitors explored an impressive collection of supercars, classic cars, motorcycle’s, military vehicles and aviation displays. One of the biggest crowd favourites on the ground was the iconic Knight Rider KITT car, complete with its unmistakable soundtrack

An Incredible Flying Display
Without doubt, the flying programme stole the show. Visitors enjoyed displays from the Gazelle Squadron, Navy Wings Chipmunks, the Wasp, two Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfires flying alongside the Rolls-Royce Heritage Spitfire, the Yak-3, the Pitts Special and the Royal Navy Raiders Parachute Team.
However, for many spectators, the highlight of the day was the spectacular Army Air Corps Apache Display Team. Their precision flying and incredible manoeuvres brought the event to a memorable finish.

More Than Just Aircraft
In addition to the flying displays, families spent time exploring the museum itself. Children and adults enjoyed the interactive exhibits, fascinating collections and hands-on displays that bring the story of British Army aviation to life.
Meanwhile, volunteers welcomed visitors throughout the day and helped create a friendly atmosphere. As a result, Wallop Wheels & Wings offered something for aviation enthusiasts, families and local residents alike.

Proud to Support the Army Flying Museum
As a local consultancy, Buildtech is committed to supporting organisations that preserve engineering and aviation heritage, educate future generations and bring communities together. For that reason, we were proud to support this year’s Wallop Wheels & Wings event as one of the official event supporters.
Our sponsorship helped the Army Flying Museum continue its valuable fundraising and educational work. We were delighted to play a small part in such a successful event and would like to thank everyone involved in its organisation.

If you’ve never visited the Army Flying Museum, we highly recommend it. The museum is a remarkable local attraction with extensive collections, interactive exhibits and passionate volunteers. It remains an important educational resource for the local community and visitors from across the UK.
Finally, we look forward to supporting the museum again and returning to Wallop Wheels & Wings next year.
